This programme introduces three outstanding Uyghur musicians performing traditional repertories while simultaneously working to develop and communicate their art in the contemporary world. Programme includes traditional folksongs and suites of classical vocal and instrumental pieces that belong to the repertoire of the Uyghur Muqam.
