For the second year running the Aga Khan Trust for Culture has won two important awards from UNESCO’s Asia-Pacific regional office – the Award for Excellence and Special Recognition for Sustainable Development – for its holistic urban revitalisation of Delhi’s historic Nizamuddin Basti.
New state-of the-art buildings are being added on three Aga Khan school campuses in Ghizer District to enhance educational opportunities in the area, giving more young and talented students from the surrounding towns and villages – including those from the most remote valleys – a chance to fulfil their potential.
