The Serena Hotels and Rawalpindi Golf Club (RGC) hosted the Annual Invitational Golf Tournament at RGC as part of its sports diplomacy initiative marking the resumption of events after a long hiatus due to COVID-19-induced lockdown. CEO of the Serena Hotels (South and Central Asia) Aziz Boolani said it was the first event to be organised after the COVID-19 lockdown period, and many more were being planned. He thanked the RGC and participants for their enthusiastic participation and excellent turnout.

Researchers at the Aga Khan University’s Medical College East Africa have secured a new grant to investigate the body’s immune response to Covid-19. Researchers will investigate the presence of antibodies, which fight diseases such as Covid-19, in patients and explore how these antibodies evolve over time in 100 Covid-19 patients: 50 of whom have symptoms and another 50 who are asymptomatic.
