Moreover, the average number of daily positive cases in the months of December and January has doubled compared to October 2020. People underestimated the virulence of the coronavirus. It’s now a race against time. They must double down on public health measures and increase vaccination rates exponentially. Given the virus variants, people need to embark on updating or tweaking Covid-19 vaccines immediately.
