The University of Central Asia recently hosted a Digital Economy Conference to support the importance of digitalisation in Tajikistan, and during which the results of European Union-funded preliminary analysis on digital economy were presented. Professor Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, Rector of the University of Central Asia (UCA) spoke about educational programmes that improve digital literacy. He stated: "UCA offers programmes that cultivate the knowledge and skills students need to integrate different approaches to solve problems and create innovations in their professional and personal life. Currently, UCA provides not only degrees in computer science, but also provides short courses. We could not have been able to provide high-quality services without using digital tools."
