In February 2013, the AKDN and the Ismaili community delivered donated goods to support the victims of the floods that damaged the country in January 2013. This included 275,000 food products and 40,000 cooking ustensils distributed in the Gaza Province. In addition, 27,264 school materials, 18,500 pharmaceutical products, 30 tonnes of rice, 12,000 clothing garmets, 1,200 agricultural tools and 2,000 construction materials were distributed in the Provinces of Gaza, Inhambane, Nampula, Zambezia and Cabo Delgado.
In April 2014, the AKDN and the Ismaili community through the Cabo Delgado provincial government, donated 2 motorcycle ambulances and several tonnes of seeds to support the flood victims in the districts of Pemba and Mocimboa da Praia. In January 2015, the AKDN, its agencies and the Ismaili community delivered 30 tonnes of rice to the victims of the floods that affected Central and Northern Mozambique in January.
