Inauguration of Kampala Serena Hotel
Kampala, Uganda, 10 November 2006 - The Kampala Serena hotel is the latest addition to the Serena Group of hotels, owned and operated by Tourism Promotion Services (TPS), an arm of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED). One of 17 Serena properties in Africa - others are in Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Mozambique - the Kampala Serena will have a significant economic, social and cultural impact in Uganda.
