28-29 October 2006 - His Highness the Aga Khan made a brief visit to Bishkek where he met with a wide range of Kyrgyz leaders, including President Kurmanbek Bakiev, Prime Minister Feliks Kulov and senior parliamentarians. During the visit, the Aga Khan discussed new opportunities for local and regional economic development, as well as expansion of social development initiatives currently underway in various provinces of the Kyrgyz Republic.
