11 July 2008 - On the second day of his visit to Portugal, His Highness the Aga Khan held meetings with various government officials, including the Minister of Justice, Alberto Costa, as well as the President of the Assembly of the Republic Jaime Gama. Later that day, the Aga Khan held a meeting with Foreign Minister, Luis Amado and then met with Prime Minister Jose Socrates at the Prime Minister's Palace. Here, the Aga Khan and the Foreign Minister signed an Agreement of International Cooperation between the Ismaili Imamat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic.
