The story of Chand Begam

Chand Begam is a tailor in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan who attended an enterprise training workshop organised by the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). As a result, she gained the skills and knowledge needed to open her own professional dressmaking shop, which has allowed her to increase her productivity and income

Since 2011, AKDN has supported 63,000 young people like Chand in Northern Pakistan to develop the skills and confidence they need to become more employable and self-enterprising.
