President Rahmon and Aga Khan Inaugurate Dushanbe Serena Hotel

Dushanbe, Tajikistan, 1 November 2011 - The Dushanbe Serena Hotel was conceived as a composition of Tajik artistic and building traditions, presented in a contemporary manner. The signature inspiration is the Chaikhanna – the traditional Tea Pavilion – with its high volume, slender column structure and ornately decorated ceilings, whose inspiration is evident in numerous interior spaces.
