Today, these programmes have been brought together under the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance (AKAM).

The Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance provides over 500,000 clients in poor and low-income populations a safe, convenient place to save while also building a stable deposit base as a long-term, local source of funding.
Over the last decade the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance has disbursed $2 billion worth of loans in an effort to make lasting improvements in the quality of life of the poor.
