Aga Khan Museum's 'Skate Girls of Kabul' exhibition showcases the 'power of sport'

6 September 2017

In her interview with CBC radio's Metro Morning, the award-winning photographer, Jessica Fulford-Dobson, explains the reasons of the photograph exhibition. In 2013 and 2014, she travelled to Kabul to document young girls participating in an innovative programme called Skateistan, an international NGO founded in 2009 with the goal of providing girls with a place to skate safely and a route into education. The outdoor exhibition at the Aga Khan Museum is open until October 8th, and includes a pop-up skate park event on September 16th.
