Location: Old City, Jerusalem (West Asia)This programme aims to preserve the identity and character of the old city of Jerusalem, while also aiming to regenerate the local economy, thus improving the living conditions of the inhabitants who are mostly Arabs. This involves emergency restoration of buildings under threat, a training programme, and a community awareness campaign. To date nine restoration projects have been completed.
